Wordpress 2.5

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

I recently upgraded my, and everyone’s blogs to Wordpress 2.5. If you use Wordpress, I highly suggest you upgrade. This latest upgrade is a huge update to the admin interface that not only reorganizes things a bit more logically, but adds many new features that make blogging easier and frankly more enjoyable (tools that work the way you think versus tools that make you think to work).

Upgrade took all of a minute, with 59 seconds of that being ftping the new code up to my site and a single click to “upgrade”.

New Features include upgraded admin interface, automatic upgrade of plugins, dashboard widgets, media gallery and much much more.

About Lynn Wallenstein

My name is Lynn Wallenstein and I am one of the co-founders of Powered By Geek, a contracting and consulting firm formed by some friends and I who were sick of working 100 hour weeks while our bosses get richer but that is a whole other story. This is where I ramble about all things design, code, project or whatever based both for PBG and for my collection of personal projects.
