So Dan and I have been working on our latest Facebook app called Truth. Truth allows you to ask questions to your friends that they can answer completely anonymously. “What do you think of my haircut?”… “Should I breakup with my boyfriend?”… “Do you think I am selfish?”. The user creates the questions and answers and any of their facebook friends with truth will be able to answer the questions completely anonymously.. all the original poster can see is a graph of the answers, not who said them or even what the vote count was.. a simple percentage.

Its a very simple concept, but I think that is at the core of truely social web apps leveraging on things you can do in your social network.

In future versions we are planning on adding things like anonymous comments, allowing a user to share answer results with their friends, optionally allowing questions to not be anonymous (pre-defined).
