Dear people of the blogosphere,

This is my last attempt to make contact with you floaters in the internet. Emails just don’t cut it. Embrace the instant messenger. Googletalk has just released a new version that has some nifty new features like voicemails and showing your friends what music you are listening to… but most of all you can INSTANT MESSAGE ME and gather my daily wisdom. You can download the new version of Googletalk here. Also all your slackers can use this to update your existing version to the latest version. For those of you that are new to the whole Google empire, you will need an invite to create an email address which is the account you use to sign into the instant messenger software. I fortunately have 96 spare invites and would be happy to send one to whomever would like one. Let me take a spare moment to point out why you should have a email address at a free service like google… because getting one from your internet service provider such as comcast, aol, cox etc means that you have to go through a whole bitch fest if you ever want to change services. My email address “mindshdw@gmail.com” or “lwallenstein@gmail.com” stays with me no matter where I go.. I don’t need to tell friends that I have moved… nada. EMBRACE THE FREE EMAIL.
